Ronnie Smith Kennels, an internationally recognized leader in the bird dog industry, offers over 50 years of training experience available to the public through bird dog training, dog training seminars, apprenticeship programs, dog training videos, and dog training equipment. Owner, Ronnie Smith, has joined up with field trial record breaker Rick Smith, in creating Team Huntsmith. Huntsmith conducts training seminars internationally to aide dog owners in successfully handling their bird dogs in the field. The Smiths also have created a series of bird dog training videos to illustrate their proven successful training techniques. Whether an owner is starting out with a young puppy or with an older bird dog ready to be trained, Ronnie Smith can help. Ronnie also trains bird dogs for those preferring professional training.

Available dog training equipment includes creations such as the Command Lead or Wonder Lead, durable and easy to handle Checkcords, and the Figure 8 to reshape barking behavior.

Ronnie offers select hunting sport dogs for sale each year, with breeds including English Pointer, German Shorthair Pointer, Labrador Retriever or Brittany. These range from young puppies to started dogs to seasoned bird dogs. Puppies raised at Ronnie Smith Kennels may return for complete training when mature.
